About Me
I want my students to eventually learn and grow without needing me. My goal isn't just to help students master material - it's to teach them how to learn, how to think independently, and how to build confidence in their own problem-solving abilities. I've taught and mentored students across a wide range of subjects - from middle school math and SAT prep to calculus, finance, and investments. My experience spans middle schoolers, high school and college students, as well as informal mentorship of peers and younger professionals navigating academic or career goals. Outside the classroom, I've worked in accounting and as a business analyst at a renewable energy investment firm, giving me firsthand insight into how academic concepts and core skills translate into real-world value. Whether we're breaking down functions, prepping for standardized tests, or unpacking financial topics (I'm FINRA Series 66, Series 63 & SIE certified), I focus on demystifying complexity and making learning approachable. With the right approach, I believe even calculus can be taught to a middle schooler.
Hobbies & Interests
Currently taking time off from work and enjoying the summer with family and friends. When I’m not teaching or studying, I try to stay active - soccer, basketball, running, aura farming. I love working with kids and volunteering at programs. I’m also passionate about career growth, mentoring, and helping others figure out their lane. I enjoy talking about entrepreneurship, investments, etc. I’m also always up for a good debate, a better book, or a solid joke.
