Education has always been the key that unlocks potential, and I am passionate about helping students discover what they are capable of achieving. I am currently completing my associate degree in Computer and Information Sciences at Odessa College and continuing on to Texas Tech University to pursue my bachelor's in Computer Science with plans for a master's degree as well. I have several years of experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds, both as a volunteer tutor for high school students in my community and as a part-time tutor at Odessa College's STEM Lab. I have supported students in mastering subjects ranging from algebra, geometry, and calculus to programming fundamentals, C language, and introductory web development. I love showing students how coding and mathematics connect to the world around them, whether it's through building simple apps, solving real-world problems, or understanding the logic that powers everyday technology. My tutoring style is encouraging, adaptable, and interactive. I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and using relatable examples to make learning engaging. My goal is not only to help students succeed on assignments and exams but also to help them build confidence and curiosity that last far beyond the classroom. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy painting, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring nature on horseback. When I’m not tutoring or studying, I enjoy exploring creative outlets and staying active. Painting is one of my favorite ways to relax and express ideas—whether it’s working on a large canvas or simple sketches in my journal. I love cooking and often experiment with new dishes, blending flavors from different cultures to share with family and friends. I also enjoy spending time outdoors—horseback riding helps me clear my mind, while cycling and hiking allow me to explore new places and stay energized. When I’m indoors, I like to dive into strategy video games that challenge my problem-solving skills in a fun, engaging way. In addition to my creative and active hobbies, I have a growing interest in technology and entrepreneurship. I enjoy learning about startups, new app ideas, and ways that software can solve everyday problems. I hope to one day build a company that designs useful, user-friendly applications and supports local businesses with accessible tech solutions. In my downtime, I often read about emerging trends in AI and innovation, or unwind by organizing my space—I find that a tidy environment keeps my mind clear for learning and teaching.
