About Me

My name is Yanai Elijah Feldman. I studied Mathematics at Pomona College, and along the way I found myself helping peers through the subjects that tend to feel most intimidating. One of my greatest gifts is sincerity. The I Ching the ancient Chinese book of wisdom associates sincerity with the very nature of teaching. I think about that often, because it rings true for me. I don't just tutor to share knowledge. I teach because it's how I learn about relationship, about people, about myself. I was lucky from high school through college, I had real math educators. People who didn't just get through the material, but actually understood it from the inside out. That shaped everything about how I think about teaching. I'll be honest: I'm not great at writing persuasive bios. What I can tell you is that I genuinely care, and that I'm here to build something real with you.
