As a passionate English teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Winona State University, I have ten years of classroom experience, currently teaching high school English and writing. My focus is on developing students' writing skills, particularly in crafting compelling college application essays and engaging research papers. I find immense joy in helping students unlock their potential through writing, and I strive to make learning both enjoyable and effective. In my free time, I enjoy exploring literature, which further enriches my teaching.

When I am not teaching, I can be found listening to audiobooks while I clean, cook, and garden. I love to spend time crafting meals for my family and like to try new recipes. With one child in college and the other entering their junior year of high school, I find myself engaged in activities from sports to the arts all year long. When it's time to relax, I like to cuddle up on the couch with my two cats and my dog.
