About Me

Hello my name is Mason! I am a senior biochemistry student at the University of Florida and have been tutoring since my freshmen year of college. I started out at Mathnasium, a K-12 math tutoring center, and have also worked as a general chemistry tutor. My tutoring experience that one of the most effective things is to build the confidence in students who may be finding difficulty in their work. Building confidence allows students to make great strides in academia as the worry of being "wrong" becomes less daunting. I love to help students get a real grasp on subjects so that they truly understand what they are doing, and not just following a template to get answers correct. Outside of tutoring I am a huge sports fan. I follow the MLB pretty heavily, as well as college football. I love to play with my two dogs, Jack and Hazel, and get outdoors by playing disc golf! I am easy to reach and will respond as quickly as I can. I look forward to helping all the students I can!
