About Me

As a passionate bilingual educator with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience complemented by several years in the classroom. My focus areas include Elementary School English, Math, Reading, Writing, and ESL/ELL, where I employ the Orton-Gillingham approach and phonics to support diverse learning needs. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to identify and leverage their unique strengths. My motivation to tutor stems from a genuine desire to help students build confidence and achieve academic success. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, music, travel, and exploring innovative educational resources to continually enhance my teaching methods and effectiveness!
