About Me
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher (post-PhD) with the University of Toronto, having finished my PhD in cancer research (aging and immortality of human cancer and stem cells). Aside from research, I am committed to quality, personalised education for undergraduate and high school biology students. I lecture with the university here, and am extensively involved with a high school scientific outreach programme bringing exciting experiments to schools around the city, from gel electrophoresis and DNA extractions, to glowing fluorescence live mice.
Hobbies & Interests
Fundamental research in cancer, ageing, and immortality of stem cells. Downhill/Enduro mountain bike racing Competition billiards (9-ball) Aikido (shodan), Iaido (nidan) Playing piano (mainly classical)
