Balakrishnan

As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Chemistry from Dalhousie University and over 5 years of tutoring and classroom experience, I thrive on helping students grasp complex concepts in subjects like AP Chemistry, Algebra, and Physics. My teaching philosophy centres around fostering a supportive learning environment where curiosity is encouraged and every student feels valued. I believe that connecting the material to real-world applications enhances understanding and retention. My goal is to inspire confidence in my students, empowering them to excel academically. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring scientific literature and engaging in discussions about the latest advancements in chemistry, which further enriches my teaching.

I coach youth soccer and I love reading.
