About Me
I am very passionate about working with students, particularly because I have firsthand experience with how beneficial tutoring can be and want to give back. My favorite subject in school was always Biology, and my passion for this subject ultimately led me to medical school. I have also attained a Masters of Public Health from NYU, and did my undergraduate degree in Biology at Millersville University where I was a full-time field hockey student-athlete. Furthermore, I am a published author in multiple academic journals and am currently engaged in ethics-based research. Originally from Australia, I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at my high school in Canberra, so I am well-versed in inquiry-driven learning. I encourage my students to ask any and all questions, and to not be afraid of "failing" as I truly believe that our mistakes are our best tools for learning. Outside of academics and medicine, I enjoy spending time at the dog park with my adorable puppy, visiting with my niece, going to the beach, and trying new recipes in my kitchen.
