With a Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Valley State University and over 5 years of tutoring and 30 years of classroom experience, from elementary to high school. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a positive mindset and building on each student's unique strengths. I believe that by identifying and utilizing their natural talents, we can effectively address challenges and achieve their educational goals together. I enjoy walking my dog Nemo, going camping, reading, cooking, and binge watching a variety of interesting shows on television! I also love watching the Detroit Lions and U of M (sorry, my daughter goes there, lol!)
