I attended UC Santa Cruz (BA, History Major, Literature Minor) and Sonoma State University (MA, History) and also attended university in England and Ireland. I prioritize student engagement and personalized learning. I believe in fostering critical thinking and creativity, helping students develop their unique voices through writing and analysis.

I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, playing and listening to music, skiing, watching sports and spending time with my son, husband and pets. I am interested in European Intellectual History in the 20th century, Irish History and Literature, and current affairs.
