I hold degrees in chemistry (BS) and biochemistry (PhD) and have extensive experience in teaching high school and college students in both lecture and one-on-one tutoring formats. The subjects I feel most comfortable tutoring are biology, chemistry, and physics. I like to take students through examples that highlight key concepts to the subject matter, beginning with simple problems and then going on to more complex and intricate problems that involve multiple concepts. I firmly believe that science is for everyone and that everyone can and should understand science.
