I attend Texas A&M University pursuing dual degrees in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and Agricultural Leadership and Development. During my sophomore year of college, I was a reading and writing tutor for 3rd-5th grade through a student-led volunteer organization. The subjects I helped cover included basic reading and grammar, essay writing and typing, and poetry writing. I have also been assisting my peers since high school in projects such as literary analysis, research papers on science and history, graduate program application essays, and more. Writing isa very strong passion of mine, and I believe reading and writing, as well as learning proper grammar for everyone to know and understand. I also strongly believe these subjects can be very fun, and one of my primary goals in tutoring is helping students see value and gain enjoyment from any type of reading or writing. My hobbies include, of course, reading, as well as creative writing, multiple mediums of art, going to museums, zoos, aquariums, or botanical gardens, listening to any genre of music, and watching my favorite movies and TV shows. I also love animals, having grown up raising cattle and riding horses.

My hobbies include: Reading - Recently, I've enjoyed classics from authors like Jane Austen and Oscar Wilde, as well as poetry. My favorite books are usually fantasy or dystopian. Creative writing - I've enjoyed writing short stories and starting longer novels since middle school. Currently, I'm (slowly) working on a manuscript for a fantasy novel. I also occasionally write poetry. Art - I love drawing via sketching, painting, oil pastels, and wood burning. Museums, zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens Listening to music - I love most genres, but my favorites are rock, classical, show tunes, and pop.Movies and TV shows - I've really enjoyed branching out recently and watching more "classic" or more artistic films. I like anything from period dramas or rom-coms to movies like Dead Poets Society to animated films like those from Studio Ghibli.I absolutely love all animals! I grew up around farm animals, mostly cows and horses, but I've always had dogs and cats as well.
