About Me

I have experience tutoring Middle School algebra and leading English classes for adults, which greatly fortified my communication skills and strategies for engaging students and dissecting complex topics. I grew up being tutored by a number of tutoring centers so I know what makes a good tutor and what doesn't! My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptable: I am perceptive to learning styles and learners' level of understanding. I like to tailor lessons to the learner's needs and am willing to go the extra mile to explain complicated topics. My goal is to be approachable and build a genuine connection with students, while challenging them to develop their skills to tackle new problems. Whether a student needs help mastering core concepts, staying organized, or preparing for quizzes and tests, I work to make learning clear, approachable, and rewarding.
