I have been teaching English as a Second Language for over twenty years to adults in class room settings at community college, private international companies and currently online one-on-one . At the start of the first lesson, I take the time to get know the person, their likes and dislikes, extra activities and what that person hopes to accomplish with short and long term goals. My background is especially skilled at identifying opportunities for improvement, with proven ability to create an environment which leads the student to personal improvement and growth.

M hobbies include participating in sports, especially lap swimming, distance walking, figure skating and snow skiing. My musical instrument is the piano and my favorite genres are popular music and jazz. I enjoy live classical concerts and opera. To please the palate, I enjoy cooking French recipes. I studied cooking with a French Chef near Lyon, France. I also enjoy traveling having visited most of Europe, Russia and Mideast and Canada.It is very educational for me to experience different cultures in order to understand my international students.
