Hi! My name is Frances, and I'm a passionate writer, reader, and educator based in New York City. With an extensive educational background in English Literature and Social Sciences (BA cum laude), Film and Media Studies (MA), and Library and Information Science (MLIS), I'm equipped with knowledge of a wide breadth of subjects, bringing both analytical rigor and creative intuition to the learning process. I have worked extensively as a writing tutor in particular, coaching students on history and literature essays, research papers, personal statements, creative writing, and even professional materials. I'm especially skilled at helping writers find structure, voice, and confidence in their work. My approach is always collaborative and practical.
