- I specialize in tutoring physics, chemistry, and mathematics, from foundational concepts to more advanced coursework.
- I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
About Me
Hi, I'm Anthony! I'm a senior at Eastern Illinois University pursuing dual degrees in Physics and Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics, and I will begin a PhD in Chemistry at Baylor University in Fall 2026. My academic path has given me a strong foundation in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communicating complex ideas clearly. I currently conduct photocatalysis research with Dr. Hongshan He, where I work on understanding chemical processes and materials at a fundamental level. Through this experience, I've learned how to break down difficult scientific concepts into logical stepssomething that translates directly into effective tutoring. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand the reasoning behind it so they can approach new problems with confidence. As someone who has spent years studying challenging STEM subjects, I know that difficult topics often become manageable once they are explained the right way. I work patiently with students to identify where confusion starts and build a clear path forward. If you're looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about helping students succeed, I'd be happy to help!
Hobbies & Interests
I love to play soccer, cook, and watch movies. I also enjoy working out and exercising. I do really enjoy learning new, interesting things from people in various fields, so socialization is a big part of my life.
