About Me

I have over 16 years experience as a college-level teacher and tutor, and have spent over 15 years as the head of a research organization on international politics and security, producing published works in Global Asia, Strategic Review, Global Strategis, and The Journal of Global Strategic Studies, among other sites. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University. I am passionate about helping students master complex subjects like world politics, U.S. foreign policy, international security, terrorism, comparative politics, geography, U.S. and world history, and related social studies topics. I thrive on mentoring studentswhether guiding them through homework, essay writing, exam preparation, or building critical thinking skillsand have consistently received praise for my approachable style, patience, and ability to adapt to diverse learners, from K-12 to undergraduates.
