Sara is the Director of Counseling at the Buxton School, a college-prep boarding school in Massachusetts with a 3:1 student-to-faculty ratio and a 100% college placement rate. In that role, she uses her training as a Master of Social Work to help students set goals, navigate big decisions, and plan for the transition to college. Sara previously worked in college admissions, and draws on this experience to guide students and families. Sara is a firm believer that -- while undeniably challenging -- the college planning and admissions process can be a deeply meaningful and rewarding journey, and that with the right care and support each student can approach this transition with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.
