Hello! Presently, I teach students in the 4th, 5th and 6th grade and I specialize in reading, writing and math. I have some training in Orton Gillingham as well and I have used that method to assist students with early literacy skills including phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension and vocabulary. In math, I can offer support in streamlining multistep math problems and offer opportunities for repeated practice, anchor charts for multistep problems and use of visuals to support visual learners. I enjoy reading, listening to music (rock, blues, jazz), drawing and playing the drums! I like to spend time outdoors: hiking, biking, and spending time with my family. I have an eight year old son who keeps me very busy!
