About Me
Hi! My name is Audrey, and I recently graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Adaptive Curriculum. Through my coursework, field experiences, student teaching, and tutoring, I have gained extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them build both academic skills and confidence. My background in special education has equipped me with strategies to support a wide range of learners, and I enjoy helping students break down challenging concepts into manageable, achievable steps. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to each learner's strengths, needs, and goals. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and building confidence in their abilities. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to help them become more independent and self-assured learners.
