Hello! My name is Paz and I've been tutoring since 2019! While I also teach ENG 101 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I love tutoring for the unique one-on-one educational experience. Whether you or your student is starting with the basics of phonics, or applying to university programs, I take a dynamic, hands-on approach to teaching. Where possible, I tailor sessions toward the student's interests, needs, and learning styles so that even the most difficult of subjects feel more approachable. Reading and writing are how we learn from the world, and how the world learns from us, so I treat English as not simply another class to get a grade in, but a tool for my students to use throughout their lives. I look forward to forging that tool together!
