I am an undergraduate of the Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science. I have years of experience tutoring and teaching math and various sciences from an elementary to a college level. I primarily tutor college level courses such as physics and biochemistry, but also have extensive experience in social sciences, biology, and higher mathematics such as Calculus and Differential Equations. I believe that demonstrating the various real-world applications of a given concept is the best method to increase a student's understanding.

Hello, students! My name is Pranav, and I'm so excited to be tutoring with Varsity Tutors. I have vast experience tutoring both personally and professionally; I've held officer positions in several nonprofit organizations, including STEMpals and The Do Re Mi Project, teaching courses ranging from biology to music theory. I took 16 AP courses throughout high school with all 5s, and I earned a 1570 on my SAT, so I'm pretty familiar with the majority of academic subjects! I have experience tutoring any and all skill levels, and I'm always open to expanding my horizons, so please don't hesitate to book your first lesson. I'm looking forward to meeting with you!
I am currently working in the Finance industry and I believe teaching should be customized to each individual person to get a whole understanding as no student is the same. I learn best by teaching and hope to share this with you!
I am a classically and contemporarily trained vocalist with quite a bit of knowledge about the music industry.
I'm Felipe. I am a 3rd year pre-med college student studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I first discovered my passion for teaching a few years ago when I began tutoring ACT and SAT for a tutoring company in my hometown of Frisco. Since then, I have gotten deeply involved with teaching. I have gotten to volunteer for non-profit college organizations at underserved Austin elementary schools to encourage kids to go into STEM, I have gotten to help teach for an introductory biomedical engineering laboratory class at UT, and I have been employed by UT's Engineering Student Services to tutor other students in organic chemistry for well over a year. In that time, I have found that I especially enjoy working with high school and college students. My journey as a student is far from over, so everything I teach is something that I have been right in the middle of learning recently. My favorite subject to tutor is organic chemistry. It is something I've been teaching for a long time, and it's a subject I've gotten to understand well. Other subjects I love to tutor include biology, chemistry, physics, and all math through calculus; my career path has required me to synthesize all these subjects rather well. ACT/SAT test prep is also something I enjoy teaching and is something I have experience with. I have started to offer MCAT tutoring, as it is one of the more rigorous exams I have had success with, and a skill I would love to pass on to other aspiring physicians.

I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Business. Throughout my undergraduate career, I developed a strong foundation in applied mathematics, physics, coding, and engineering systems, and I've enjoyed translating that knowledge into tutoring experiences. I've worked as a coding instructor, teaching students of all ages the basics of programming logic and Python. I've also helped peers with subjects like calculus, physics, MATLAB, and engineering design. While I tutor a wide range of STEM subjects, my favorite areas are calculus, physics, and SAT Math because they combine logic, speed, and strategy. I help students build confidence and accuracy on standardized tests by breaking down question patterns, reviewing key math concepts, and practicing time-saving techniques. My teaching style is straightforward, friendly, and adaptiveI meet students where they are and build from there. Outside of tutoring, I love to travel, play sports, and follow any space explorations developments.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University. Over the past few years, I've worked as a coding coach, an Instructor Assistant through Kode with Klossy, and the founder of a Girls Who Code club, helping students build confidence in STEM through hands-on, creative projects. My journey into STEM didn't start with confidence; in fact, I used to feel intimidated by math and science. But with the encouragement of mentors who believed in me, I grew to love the problem-solving, creativity, and endless possibilities STEM offers. Now, I'm passionate about sharing that same sense of empowerment with others. While I tutor a variety of subjects, I'm most passionate about math and computer science. I love how foundational they are and how they help students understand the logic behind the world and the technology around them. My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I aim to meet students where they are, break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, and foster a learning environment where they feel safe asking questions and making mistakes. Learning should be a confidence-building process, and I work to help students improve academically and believe in their potential.

Hi! I'm Srisindhu Medukonduru, and I'm a student at Vanderbilt majoring in Business. I love exploring the intersection between service and teaching, particularly in subjects like Math and Science, and I love meeting new people. Helping students understand a concept where I see the lightbulbs turning on makes me beyond happy! I believe teaching is not about giving students what I want to give them, but it's about giving my students what they need from me, at any given risk and cost. I mainly specialize in math but I can also trach other STEM and non-STEM classes, and I can do test prep as well!
