Where do you see yourself in ten years is a very challenging question to answer. Considering I do not even know what I am doing tomorrow, it is hard to say for sure what I am going to be doing in ten years. However, I have set goals for myself that I hope to reach and there are things that I can hope to be doing ten years from now. In ten years I would love to have started a family, where we live in a nice house that really feels like home. I hope to have found my people and learn who helps me become the best version of myself. In ten years, I hope that I still strive to become a great role model and spread positivity. By the time ten years have passed, I will be done with all of my education and school, hopefully working at a stable job.
In more detail, career wise, I would love to working as a speech therapist. I hope that as a speech therapist, I can help people overcome the communication barriers that they may face from society. One of my main goals in life is to help others and find ways to give back to my community. In ten years, I wish to be providing services to people with communication Disorders and help them feel more confident to use their voice. It is important for people to feel that they have a voice and can be heard. There are many people with communication Disorders in under served communities as well, so I will strive to also help them. One way I can help my community is by providing my services for free or at a discounted price to the people who may need speech therapy, but financially may not be able to afford it. There are many ways that as a speech therapist I will be able to help others, especially those living in my community. My education is going to play a big role in my future. Although there may be times of doubt and struggle while I am trying to obtain my degree, I know that the adversity I will face while in college is going to shape me into a better person. Earning an education after high school is not always necessary, but the knowledge available to be learned from attending college is so large. To obtain a job as a speech therapist, college education is necessary, so it was a no brainier for me that I was going to attend college. A few years of growing and learning is only going to help me become a better speech therapist. I want to be the best that I can be at my job and I feel confident enough to say that my education will shape me and help get me to where I need to be.
