My principal, Mrs. White, is a leader who has inspired me and impacted my educational journey. Last year, she was my biology teacher, and this year she became the high school principal at Greenbrier Christian Academy. In her new role, she has made intentional changes that create a love for learning and help students grow academically, mentally, and spiritually.

Mrs. White understands the pressures my generation faces, including anxiety about grades, extracurricular success, and peer acceptance. To help us, she introduced a block schedule that allows more focused classroom time with teachers and includes a “flex period” for relaxation and connection. This period allows students opportunities to form stronger relationships in a fun and safe environment. These thoughtful changes reflect her understanding of our challenges and her commitment to helping us thrive.

What sets Mrs. White apart is her genuine care for each student. If someone has a concern or need, Mrs. White drops everything she’s doing and prioritizes them, offering support and encouragement. She values student opinions, always asking how we are doing to ensure her decisions benefit both individuals and the entire student body.

Mrs. White inspires me to make a difference in others’ lives by putting their needs above my own. Her boldness, hard work, and ability to solve problems with compassion motivate me to develop those qualities. I admire how she protects and supports her students, and I aspire to lead with the same strength and leadership she models every day.
