I graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors from Bryn Mawr College in 2012 with a BA in English and a minor in psychology, as well several premedical requirements. As far as writing goes, I have tutored everything from college entrance essays to senior physics theses to applications for Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships. In addition to Writing, I tutor in English, Grammar and Literature. Whether you are having difficulty with mechanics or are gearing up for an AP, SAT II or other standardized examination in English, I am willing and able to help, as I have taken virtually every test and have mastered English grammar. I also tutor for AP and SAT II examinations in General Chemistry and Biology, as well as for the corresponding introductory college courses for those subjects. If you're struggling with the algebra that's so often involved in solving chemistry problems (or if you're struggling with algebra I in general), I tutor for that as well. Finally, should you be preparing for the ACT, I provide tutoring services in all subject areas of that test (including Writing) and scored in the 98th percentile of test-takers as a senior in high school. I know how difficult and stressful preparing for standardized tests, exams, and papers can be, and I hope that my background as a seasoned tutor combined with my knowledge of the subjects and tests that I completed not so long ago will support my students as they move forward.
