Over the past 15 years, I have worked with the NO Child Left Behind Program in NYC schools, tutored regents, test Prep, homework and many academic subjects for middle school, high school and college. Over the past twenty years, I have held senior financial management positions in major NYC based companies and currently serve as Comptroller for a large organization. While comfortable teaching English and Math test prep and Regents prep for a wide range of exams, over the past year, I have worked quite a lot with ISEE, SHSAT, SSAT and Algebra students. From the first diagnostic that I give to my students, I quickly develop a strategy to work with them on to improve their performance, test taking ability and understanding of their weakest areas. I am also a certified personal trainer and believe strongly in the adage "A sound mind in a sound body." Culturally, I appreciate music, art, theater, film, dance, museums, reading, lectures and travel. I am incredibly proud that my twin daughters graduated from Ivy League institutions and are independent young women.
