I am currently working towards getting my Bachelor's in Nursing. I have always enjoyed helping and watching people learn concepts that they were previously having trouble with. For the past four years, I have tutored in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry and Algebra. I was also a Corps Member for City Year, an education focused, nonprofit organization. I served at a middle school, where I was a Mentor and Tutor for numerous students. I understood the impact and importance of education for an individual and also for a community. In teaching and learning, hard work is the key to success. Hard work makes everything attainable. I find that being active relieves stress and keeps the mind clear. This is why I like to run at least three times a week.
