I graduated from The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and finished a Masters in Biology at Eastern Michigan University. I enjoy helping others, which included teaching kids at my church, tutoring middle and high school students during study hall, working with youth in after school programs, helping adults who wish to improve their English, and helping friends who home school their kids. While it is important to know facts or the application of facts, I feel that learning how to learn and critical thinking are important and are built on the foundation of a trusting relationship existing between the tutor and the student. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, following professional sports, boardgames, cooking and eating.
