I received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from UCI and a Master of Public Health concentrated in Family and Child Health with a subspecialty in Global Health from the University of Arizona. I have over 8 years of coaching and teaching experience from the middle school to the graduate school level. I love teaching and have tutored many students, peers, and friends in a vast range subjects from epidemiology and physiology to art history and essay writing and even volleyball. I thoroughly enjoy both the humanities and sciences, which is why they are my favorite subjects to tutor. When I begin tutoring a student, my goal is to tailor learning strategies to the student and have the student understand the why behind what they are learning rather than solely memorizing the topic. It is rewarding for me to see students accomplishing their goals. Outside of academics, I enjoy beach volleyball, cooking, traveling, and scuba diving.
