I also have an MA in Religion from Andrews University, a law degree from Harvard, and I received my BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. I tutor in history, political science, GRE and SAT test prep, and in public speaking and essay writing. I enjoy political science, essay writing and public speaking the most. While working on my doctorate I taught students on the college level, and my philosophy for working with those students informs the way I tutor. I try my best to establish that we are a team, working together to get the right answers and to learn the material. I try to stay away from rigid hierarchy as much as possible, while still making sure that we get the work done. Outside of teaching I am a sports fan (Philadelphia fan forever! Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies in that order, as well as UCONN basketball), and I have recently gotten back into my childhood habit of reading comic books.
