About Me
I am a graduate of New York University where I received both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Biological Anthropology with a focus on primatology and behavioral biology. I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in Anthropological Sciences at Stony Brook University. Before embarking on a scientific career, I was interested in English and French language and literature. I studied abroad in Paris for a summer as an undergrad where I took an intensive French language course. I have always been interested in creative writing, particularly poetry, and greatly enjoy helping my students find their own unique voices through their writing. Although I tutor an array of subjects, I am most passionate about helping students succeed with Writing and Biology. I am a strong believer in the value of knowledge and am passionate about equipping my students with the tools to think critically both inside and outside of the classroom. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my pets, yoga, and traveling.
