Previously, I studied at Illinois State University where I earned my BA in French with an endorsement to teach K-12. During my studies at ISU, I had the opportunity to spend a year in Angers, France immersing myself in the language and culture. I firmly believe that students are capable of learning a language if they are willing to put in the extra effort. Daily practice and exposure to the studied language will improve comprehension and production. Students must also be willing to express themselves, to the best of their abilities, in the French language in order to feel more at ease in the language. Errors are not failure but a way to learn for the future.
