I just finished my second year at Oregon State University (go Beavs!) where I am pursuing a double degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and Bilingual Elementary Education. I am completely fluent (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) in English and Spanish due to the incredible opportunity I had of living and studying overseas in Venezuela for most of my elementary school years. I have had much experience working with students all ages: tutoring for student athletes here at OSU, organizing and leading study groups for my high school peers as we prepared for our IB exams, working with high school freshmen in small groups in an algebra 1 recovery class, teaching Sunday school at the elementary school level...These hands on experiences coupled with the knowledge I have gleaned from my human development and education classes have equipped me to work with students of all ages. I am passionate about what I do and bring joy, enthusiasm and excitement into each of my sessions.
