I spent 3 years of my time at FIT tutoring writing and English to students and faculty (mostly on curriculum).With students, I focused heavily on college essay writing, admissions essays, resume and cover letter building and improvement, scholarship applications, and personal writing. All of the students I helped with college admissions essays and scholarship essays have gained entry into their desired programs, and/or have received the scholarships for which they applied! I even studied abroad in Hong Kong for a semester and was part of the English Club on my campus. That was a great experience! When I graduated from FIT, I spent some time tutoring high school English and writing, as well as test prep at tutoring/mentoring start-up in NYC. It was interesting to take my college tutoring skill-set and begin to teach high school students. I have additional experience as a professional writing consultant, for individuals who aren't looking for academic help. I am also an editor of an online magazine, where I help guide and oversee staff writers' contributions and post articles myself from time-to-time! I'm excited to work with students on this platform and help them take their English writing and grammar from good to great! I'm also excited to make deep connections with the amazing students that come here to learn!
