One of the reasons I am drawn to medicine is the communication to patients and teaching them about diseases. I entered tutoring because of my passion to teach and mentor others. At Temple, I was a teaching assistant for organic chemistry, which was my favorite subject in college because of how applicable it was to medicine. As a TA, I developed lesson plans and met with students one-on-one to guide them through the challenges they had in the course. I continued to tutor in organic chemistry along with general chemistry, algebra and biology at Resnick Athletic Center. Through this job I learned to work alongside students with hectic schedules and how to accommodate for their practices.

In my free time, I like exploring Philly, cooking, and model building.
