Granted, most of my tutoring and teaching experience has been with Elementary School ages, but as with any aspect of life and learning, I believe it is possible to adapt any subject area to make it interesting, either by changing the way it is taught or switching the way it is viewed into a more positive mindset. I have an Elementary (K-8) general teaching certificate, a 7-12 English teaching certificate, as well as an AZ fingerprint clearance card and First Aid and CPR Certification. My most enjoyable teaching and tutoring moments have been watching people problem solve a new way to accomplish a task on their own, and see how that enables them to start taking the initiative for their own learning and problem solving.
