- Science has always been a passion of mine, which is why I desire to pursue a career in healthcare.
- Another contributor to this desire is my love of helping others.
About Me
I recently graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish in June 2018. I am currently living in Santa Barbara and getting ready to apply to medical school. I have dedicated a lot of time in both high school and college mentoring and tutoring others. I always participated in peer study groups while in college, especially for my science classes; I loved learning from others as well as teaching them subjects I loved and understood. Additionally, I have helped high school students study for the ACT and SAT, write their personal statements, and write their scholarship application essays. I love writing, and I believe that peer support and revision in the writing process is very important. I enjoy helping others with their writing as well as editing their essays. Additionally, I love to study languages and their linguistic components. Both English and Spanish are my favorite subjects to teach to others. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends and going to the beach. I also really enjoy sports, especially soccer and golf.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy watching and playing sports, spending time with my family and friends, and going to the beach!
