I received my Bachelor of Arts in special education with a focus in teaching students with learning disabilities and developmental disabilities. Since graduation, I have eared a Master's degree in the area of educational technology from Walden University and obtained a certification in Orton-Gillingham reading instruction from the Institute for Mulit-Sensory Education. My passion is teaching struggling students how to read while instilling in them a love of reading. In my experience using a systematic, mulit-sensory phonics approach to teach reading has proven most successful. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling with my family.
