Ingrid Gonzalez
- I'm a native Spanish speaker and an adjunct college professor with a bachelor's degree and a master's in Business Administration.
About Me
For over five years, I've taught business, Spanish, and college success courses at local community colleges. I'm also a Spanish tutor and an Academic Coach. I enjoy working in small groups and one-on-one with students to personalize their lessons and adjust to their learning styles. I teach all levels of Spanish, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and help you improve your conversational skills. My teaching philosophy is to help students develop a robust understanding and mastery of the language, provide cultural exposure, help them communicate, and gain perspective of the Hispanic world. Students learn best through various teaching strategies and practice methods that introduce, develop, and enhance their listening, reading, writing, and communication skills, all of which I apply in my active-learning, student-centered classroom environment as well as groups and one-on-one environments. When I'm not teaching, I like spending time with the family, traveling, photography, cooking, gardening, and practicing Yoga.
