I am a recently retired French Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching all levels from beginners to AP. I received my undergraduate degree from Adelphi University and graduate level teaching certificate from George Mason University. I have spent considerable time living in France and was awarded a prestigious ROTARY Exchange Student Scholarship to attend a French High School. In addition, I attended the prestigious Political Science School at the University of Grenoble where I completed courses taught entirely in French. As a World Language teacher, I have always stressed communication skills in all four competence areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. In addition, my subject competence and teaching skills have enabled both AP students to succeed on the exam, and lower-level students to enjoy and progress in the French language.
