My passion for education began during my college years, when I accepted a tutoring position at a local elementary school. At the time, I did not fully understand how powerful academic support could be for students who needed encouragement, structure, and individualized attention. Working with children in low-performing schools near my college helped me realize that tutoring was much more than helping students complete assignments. It was about building confidence, creating meaningful connections, and helping young learners see that success was possible for them. That experience became a turning point in my life and helped shape my commitment to education. As I continued tutoring, I learned the importance of meeting students where they are academically and personally. Many students need more than repeated instruction; they need someone who can identify gaps in understanding, explain concepts differently, and celebrate progress along the way, Ed.D. Ed.S, MMNGT.
