I obtain my Masters Degree at Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. I also obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in English from SUNY Binghamton University. I am also a certified school Social Worker. I always knew, if I did not become a Social Worker, I would become an English teacher. Either way, I wanted to help children. That has always been my passion and goal in life. Throughout my career, I have always worked with children assisting them academically, especially assisting them to improve and excel in reading and writing. I love reading and I always try to get my students to realize that reading and writing is necessary. I want them to see that it is fun and entertaining and can be just as entertaining as their tablets. My teaching style is to meet my students where they are and move forward as a team in order for them to reach their goal. It takes time and patience and I am willing to help them to reach their full potential. I am experienced in working with students with an IEP and also those with Processing Disorders.

I love to read and write. Pre-Pandemic I loved to travel. I still try to see open spaces in nature, just to get out and about. I enjoy exploring with my 7 year old son.
