I am not perfect. And that is what I teach every student I encounter; be YOU. Striving to be a perfect person will leave you disappointed. But, striving to be a perfect YOU, oh, that's self-love at its finniest. This is my mantra in teaching. Connecting with students is my purpose and passion. Going beyond the content and teaching them life lessons. I have been working in education for seven years and have enjoyed most of it. I believe in fun in education! If I am bored, I know the student is bored too. The more the student is engaged, the better the chances are the student will remember what they are being taught. Sometimes, they forget that they are learning. That is the best kind of teaching. Ok, about me. I graduated college at the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor. I have a degree in Journalism and I'm currently getting my master's in education. I teach Theatre in the classroom and tutor writing, reading, theatre and English.

Outside the classroom I enjoy hanging out with my own children, they are 19 and 20. We love all things entertainment, art museums, concerts, bowling, and we are the proudest Marvel nerds you will ever met.
