Professional Nurse Educator with a diversified nursing background in Pediatrics, Community Health, Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology. I have been a practicing nurse for 42 years and an educator for over 15 years teaching, advising, and supporting adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am currently and instructor at JC in Teterboro NJ. I have been their for 13 years, teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing, Anatomy in nursing and NCLEX prep. I am creative and a Technology adept hands-on instructor that emphasizes the profession of nursing and the importance of connecting theory with clinical experience, public speaking, and interpersonal skills at all levels. I live in New York with my husband and 5 dogs, Labrador retrievers, each of them has there own personality. They take up most of my spare time and the rest of my spare time is devoted to those dreaded chores-wash, shop and cook!
