About Me
I was a Physiological Sciences major at UCLA (class of 2015), and pursued research during my gap year between undergrad and medical school. Throughout my years of high school and college, I have found a passion for tutoring. I was part of an organization called TEACH at UCLA, in which we tutored at-risk children and taught them modules regarding health and science. I was also a tutor at Mathnasium, which was a tutoring company that taught math to K-12 students. My approach to tutoring is through understanding that everyone learns in different ways, and thus the first step is to discover which method matches each individual student. I believe the most effective tutors not only help a student academically, but can also serve as a mentor and friend.
