I have a strong background in English, including; reading, writing, editing, and comprehension skills. I feel that tutoring students is important and can truly make a difference. I have worked with children of all ages and backgrounds, including volunteering with the Special Olympics for several years. I've been a struggling student myself, and understand that having a tutor or mentor who believes in you and your potential is invaluable. I believe in a flexible and adaptable style of teaching, approaching every student differently to help understand and uplift them so they can succeed.

I love to read and write, including spoken-word poetry. I have a passion for traveling and have been to Europe several times. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my foster and rescue animals. When I am not busy taking care of them, I play tabletop games, such as D&D and Catan, and other video games.
