I enjoy helping students build their level of confidence with the material being learned. I believe that when a student feels confident about a subject that the student is more open and willing to work on new concepts and continue to work on complex concepts and skills. In addition, I enjoy giving students the tools that allow them to become successful in the future. I enjoy working with students in any of the social sciences. I am certified to teach 6-12 broad field social sciences, AP US History, AP World History, and AP Psychology. I also have my gifted certification. In my 24 years of teaching, I have taught literacy, World Geography, US History, AP World History, Pre-AP US History, AP Psychology, World History, Enrichment, and Georgia Studies.

I enjoy playing computer games, watching science fiction shows, traveling to theme parks, camping, and playing poker. I enjoy participating in these activities with my family, as we enjoy taking part in these activities together. I coach club volleyball and volleyball at my high school.
