Teaching struggling readers is my PASSION! I have spent the last 23 years serving in the public education system; from classroom teacher to administrator and EVERYTHING in between! My passion for teaching reading inspired me to obtain my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading from Grand Canyon University before achieving a Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2015. After all these years, my favorite job has always been to work with K-5 kiddos, particularly with those who struggle in reading. I love helping students find success, make gains and be confident readers. All they need is the toolbox, I can give them the tools!

Going out an exploring Arizona! Road trips! Small town adventures! Love all things water - lakes, rivers and ocean! Reading and listening to music are a few of my faves! I am an avid concert goer!
