My goal is to inspire students to find their passion in history and improve their grades despite these differences. That is why my instruction focuses on an inclusive approach that incorporates different learning styles and perspectives. I include videos, reading material, and external sources, such as photographs, antiquities, and other items, throughout the learning process. The material utilized also incorporates different perspectives throughout history, ensuring a more inclusive approach to the lessons. I also ask open-ended questions to ensure understanding of the material. Each course I tutor is customized to fit the standards for each grade level and student. Typically, a regular session consists of videos, readings, etc., followed by activities to ensure comprehension and stimulate historical thinking skills. These activities include multiple-choice questions, writing prompts, and discussions.
